Dissapointing

Have heard a lot of good stuff from QSO and Quantic, but this album is just quite dull. A few stand out tracks but nothing to write home about. Don't bother getting this if you're looking for some frantic booty shaking funk.
Funktastic

I've just seen QSO at Glastonbury and was blown away. They have more funk than a huge funk truck on it's way to Funks R Us. In the band's own words, their drummer is "a rhythm criminal of dubious proportions", and their fantastic hammond-pilot "has more fingers than sense". Top stuff.
Exceptional Live Act Releases Outstanding Album

I got a hold of this beauty when I went to see QSO LIVE! They are absolutely sensational, an unforgettable night of funky beats and what an amazing vocalist - Alice Russell has such a beautiful sound. Their version of 'Hold it down' is a supreme adaption of the original.
Although it is impossible to replicate the emotions created by seeing them live this album comes a close second.
Still sounding sweet

I discovered this album after hearing QSO live on radio 1's 'Brighton Rocks' tour. Egged on by Qunatic's quality solo albums I bought a copy of Stampede - I wasn't dissapointed
The quirky, funky production is still there, only now there's tight live band for Quantic to meddle with! Although there are already some already some keen reviews on Amazon, everything they say holds true. Apparently Gilles Peterson is a fan and who can argue with that?
Stampede sounds like a party, in the summer with all your best mates.
Not what I was expecting

Having bought and loved Quantic - The Fifth Exotic I bought this with eager anticipation. I was however slightly disapointed on listening to this to find a totally different style of album. This is more of a live jazz experimental album which isnt bad but it was not what I was expecting.
